ISO 14001 is an International Standard for ‘Environmental Management Systems’ and contains management principles to help reduce the risk to the environment of our operations and products. This includes environmental policy and objectives, training and organisation of people, measurement of performance, and planning for emergencies.
We are all becoming increasingly aware that conservation and care of our environment is critical to all our futures. This has never been more true in outdoor pursuits and angling. Without unpolluted waters we have no sport. Century is committed through ISO 14001: 2015 to comply with environmental law and manage the environmental impacts and risks of our activities. It also requires that we continuously improve our processes to maintain the standard.
Many organisations pay lip service to “Green Policies” – Century has proved that we are taking active steps in the manufacture and delivery of our products to implement policies that reduce our impact upon the environment.
